GARDEN GROVE, CA – Despite claiming to support more “Made-in-America” products to decrease American reliance on China, hypocrite Congresswoman Michelle Steel voted against the CHIPS Act. The CHIPS Act crucially improves America’s ability to compete against China through investing in the United States’ semiconductor industry, by shoring up US supply chains, while also creating good-paying manufacturing jobs.

“Time and again Steel says one thing, but then votes another way. The working families of California’s 45th district want a representative who is going to fight for American jobs and lower prices, not someone still playing DC politics,” said Lt. Commander Jay Chen. “In Congress, I will work with members from both sides of the aisle to combat inflation, promote small businesses, and create good-paying jobs.”
